I am a Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician with over 20 years of clinical experience. I graduated from Boston University School of Medicine and completed residency at Boston Medical Center. Throughout my 20 year career, I have practiced clinically in various settings ranging from inner-city trauma centers to rural hospitals in the developing world.
I am also a medical illustrator who focuses on simplifying complicated concepts for the non-medical audience. My first book of illustrated images to be used at the bedside is Diagnosketch: a visual guide to medical diagnosis for the non-medical audience.
