Tools to Support Limited Health Literacy

During the Tools to Support Patients with Limited Health Literacy training, healthcare professionals, social service providers, and those who share health information with community members will have the opportunity to learn about:

  • Health literacy universal precautions
  • Resources to help create and design health education materials
  • Where to find linguistically inclusive, culturally relevant health education materials
  • How to assess your organization's health literacy level

The Snohomish County Advancing Health Literacy Project aims to decrease health disparities by increasing individual and organizational health literacy. Please join us for the first of our three-part webinar training series to learn more about health literacy and how it can benefit you and your patients or clients.
