Help Us Reach the Next Generation of Physicians

Students preparing for medicine spend years building scientific knowledge, but they may have fewer opportunities to develop the communication skills that help patients feel understood, informed, and involved in their care.

That's why IHA is bringing together pre-med students, medical students, physicians, and health literacy leaders for a free virtual conference focused on skills students can begin developing before medical school. Students will also be encouraged to recognize strong health literacy practices and carry those ideas with them into medical school and future patient care.
