The 21st Annual IHA Health Literacy Conference was held virtually May 10-12, 2022. More than 1750 registered for the conference, “Strengthening Our Health Literacy Efforts: Insights, Rejuvenation, and Innovation.” Conference sessions addressed the role of communication in health literacy and how we can recognize and effectively deal with misinformation and disinformation; our own mental and emotional well-being and resilience; and innovative programs to advance health literacy toward a goal of health equity.
