My Health Toolkit

The University of Alaska Anchorage’s Center for Human Development created this toolkit. The toolkit aims to help people with intellectual and developmental disabilities manage their health. It’s also for their families/caregivers.

The toolkit materials are easy to understand and use. They include tips on how to:

  • Be active.
  • Eat healthy foods.
  • Prepare for health visits.
  • Talk with healthcare providers.
  • Use medicines wisely.
