In this article, Kat Jercich summarizes the 2021 conference of the Workgroup for Electronic Data Interchange. During the conference, experts addressed how digital health literacy affects patient outcomes. In addition, they discussed how institutions and clinical teams can make patient-facing tools more health literate.
