The Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers developed this manual, which was updated in 2020. The manual offers training ideas, exercises, metaphors, and activities to teach participants how to do motivational interviewing. Most of the ideas are meant for a workshop format, but many can also be used with one-on-one training.
