An Oncology Outreach Team and Consumer Health Library partnership to enhance health literacy for patients, families, and community members. This poster describes the Community Health Literacy Open House Hours in the library, during which an outreach nurse and librarian collaborated to provide health information to patients and their families. This showed that library–clinical partnerships can transform patient education and community engagement and play a vital role in supporting oncology patients and their families.
