Poster abstract: United Language Group’s Navigator Program operates to improve healthcare access for all North Carolinians. Through the employment of trained Navigators, consumers are provided no-cost assistance using the Federally Facilitated Marketplace exchange. People with Limited English Proficiency (LEP) experience worse health outcomes in the U.S. compared to those that speak English, with 33% of the Hispanic population in North Carolina being uninsured. United Language Group has implemented innovative community and technology-based engagement practices that are unbiased, flexible, and culturally relevant for the Spanish speaking residents. These targeted efforts aim to eliminate disparities and enhance the health outcomes of this population.
