Poster abstract: In 2022, we surveyed 911 patient users of an integrative medicine health technology platform (Fullscript). Our objectives were to establish baseline subjective personal health literacy levels, determine the most common and trustworthy sources of health information, and inquire about educational behaviors, needs, preferences, and barriers.

The results suggest that users of the platform have high subjective personal health literacy. Their primary barrier to finding reliable health information was not knowing where to look, which may explain why the majority source their health information from their healthcare providers. Finally, participants indicated preferring short to medium-length written education on supplements and nutrition.
