Poster abstract: The health literacy and the knowledge, attitudes, and practices (KAPs) of a population have acted as protective factors from COVID-19 infection. The disproportionate impact of COVID-19 among Black communities has led to an exploration into their KAPs in the form of a scoping review. 32 articles were included for analysis, all from the United States. Black participants demonstrated higher levels of COVID-19 preventative practices despite having lower levels of COVID-19 knowledge than other racial groups. An assessment of KAPs provides an educational diagnostic for this population that can deepen our understanding and create inclusive health policies.
