Environmental Health in Plain Language: A Resource Guide

Environmental health investigates how the non-living, foreign substances we consciously or unconsciously interact with affect our bodies. As the pace of climate change increases, organizations need to explain environmental health in ways people can apply to everyday decisions. Many institutions have created how-to guides for communicating environmental health in plain language, but those books, tutorials, and dictionaries are spread out across the internet. This new library research guide centralizes and filters for the tools that efficiently encourage health literacy about the environment, helping health care professionals and public health communicators talk about health threats from the world around us.
