Continuing Education

We are offering up to 27 Continuing Education Credits (CE's) 

Up to 27 CE's for LIVE Sessions, PreConference Sessions, and On-Demand (recorded) Sessions are available in the following categories:

  • Certified Health Education Specialists- CHES/MCHES (Category 1 Continuing Education Contact Hours) from NCHEC, Provider #101864
  • California Nursing CEs from The California Board of Registered Nursing, CEP# 11933
  • CPH Recertification Credits from National Board of Public Health Examiners'
  • Librarian contact hours from The Medical Library Association
Up to 25 CE's for LIVE Sessions, Preconference Sessions on dates 5/5 and 5/19, and On-Demand (recorded) Sessions are available in the following category:
  • Outside of CA Nurses CNEs from American Association of Critical-Care Nurses who is accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Acreditation.

Up to 16 CE's for LIVE Conference Sessions only are available in the following category:

  • CME’s from Loma Linda University School of Medicine who is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME)

*Please note, the amount of credits you receive depends on the sessions you view and the type of credit you are seeking. If you are seeking credits for another accrediting organization we can send you a Certificate of Attendance and you may submit this certificate to your own credentialing board (dieticians, pharmacy, etc.) to see if you can obtain transferable CEUs from your board.

To Receive Continuing Education Credits

On the website, the available credits for each session (both live and recorded) will be listed. Be sure to look beforehand as some credits are only available for the live session. Please note that Continuing medical education (CME) is for LIVE sessions only. In order to receive CME's, you must fill out the Overall Conference evaluation by June 4, 2021.

To qualify for CE’s, you must attend the full session and complete an evaluation for each session attended on Survey Magnet. You can access Survey Magnet by visiting the conference homepage and clicking “Evaluations” or by visiting Survey Magnet directly. Your login credentials to access the surveys are the same as the conference website. Please check your inbox for the welcome email or you can email support@cadmiumcd.com for additional assistance.

Once you have completed your Session and Overall evaluations, a CE certificate will be generated in the system with the number of credits earned.

Since all sessions are being recorded, you will have access to all the sessions. The recordings of the sessions will be available until May 27, 2022.

Certificate Instructions

Once you have your certificate, see the instructions below from your accreditation provider for what to do next:

California Board of Registered Nursing- Keep the certificate for 4 years, in case you are audited by the California Board of Registered Nurses.

Certified Public Health Professionals- You must self-report your time on the CPH Recertification and Reporting System portal.

Certified Health Education Specialists (CHES/MCHES)- Credits are reported to NCHEC quarterly; therefore, credits from this conference will be reported July 15, 2021, October 15, 2021, January 15, 2022, and April 15, 2022.

Physicians: Credits will be reported directly to Loma Linda University School of Medicine who is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME).

Librarians MLA- If you request MLA credit you will be provided with an enrollment code and a link to MEDLIB-ED, the Medical Library Association’s (MLA) clearinghouse for CE classes and credit. Where you may claim and print your certificate. Complete instructions will be made available under tasks.

Outside of CA Nurses- Credits will be reported directly to American Association of Critical-Care Nurses who is accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

Certified Health Education Specialists- CHES/MCHES
Sponsored by (Institute for Healthcare Advancement), a designated provider of continuing education contact hours (CECH) in health education by the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc, this webinar is designated for Certified Health Education Specialists (CHES) and/or Master Certified Health Education Specialists (MCHES) to receive up to 27 total Category I continuing education contact hours. Certified Public Health- CPH
This activity is approved for up to 27 credits accepted by the National Board of Public Health Examiners' Certified Public Health (CPH) recertification program.

Librarians
This activity is approved for a maximum of 27 contact hours by the Medical Library Association.

Nursing CE's
This nursing continuing professional development activity was approved by the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation, for up to 25 contact hours.

California Nurses
Institute for Healthcare Advancement is a provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, CEP# 11933, for up to 27 contact hours.

Physicians CME's
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of Loma Linda University School of Medicine and Institute for Healthcare Advancement. The Loma Linda University School of Medicine is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The Loma Linda University School of Medicine designates this Live Activity for a maximum of 16.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)TM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
