Patricia Frost, RN, PHN, MS, PNP is the Former Director of the Contra Costa County EMS System serving over a million citizens were she acted as Medical Health Operational Area Coordinator in Disaster. Pat is an adjunct faculty for the TEEX Pediatric Disaster Response and Emergency Preparedness Course. Pat is currently the Vice-Chair of the National Pediatric Disaster Coalition and serves as a one of the Disaster Domain subject matter expert (SME) for the EMS for Children National Pediatric Readiness Quality Collaborative and has served as an SME for ASPR TRACIE in the area of pediatric and neonatal disaster preparedness. Ms. Frost is an experienced clinician, program and project manager with more than 30 years of pediatric and neonatal critical care and ambulatory experience in a variety of roles, including faculty at major universities, medical relief work in Ecuador and Vietnam, hospital staff development, patient care, and advanced practice nursing. Since 2009 she has participated in numerous medical health pediatric disaster preparedness committees and workgroups.
