Webinar- Supporting Individuals Who Are LGBTQIA+

When:  Dec 15, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM (PT)
Webinar Description:
Many LGBTQIA+ individuals face high rates of rejection, discrimination, victimization, homelessness, and lifetime suicide ideation. These challenges lead to health disparities. This session will outline challenges and what can be done to eliminate them. Participants will learn how to create safe and welcoming environments to reduce disparities.

Objectives:

By the end of this webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Implement welcoming and inclusive strategies
  • Provide culturally responsive care
  • Reduce disparities

Resource “Gift” Exchange:

During the webinar, we will have a "gift" exchange between attendees, where the only gift you need to exchange is your favorite resource for your industry/job.

What do I need to prepare for this gift exchange? You only need to have your favorite resource link handy. During the webinar, you will be able to send a link to your resource via the webinar chat. For example, here’s a link to a resource.
